Upon receipt at our facility, all inventory is logged into ERG's ERP system and each asset is scanned and assigned a unique identifier for complete chain-of-custody tracking throughout the IT asset disposition process. During intake, all storage devices and their serial numbers are recorded for audit and compliance purposes. Depending on the selected service level, storage media is either securely destroyed or sanitized using industry-leading, certified data erasure software, ensuring complete data security and regulatory compliance
Test, Repair & Refurbishment
During this stage, all assets undergo a comprehensive inspection and functional testing process to verify that key components are fully operational and suitable for resale. Assets that do not meet our quality standards are transferred to our refurbishment team, where skilled technicians repair and restore them to maximize their market value.
Once refurbished and certified to meet our quality assurance standards, assets are prepared for remarketing and resale. Equipment that cannot be economically repaired or reused is responsibly recycled in accordance with industry best practices and environmental regulations, ensuring maximum resource recovery and minimal environmental impact
